As part of SECCCA, Council has advocated to the State Government to allocate $20 million to the SECCCA region for the installation of a network of EV chargers.

Council has built off the strategic recommendations in the SECCCA report to focus on 18 priority suburbs. Kingston collaborates closely with regional Councils to share knowledge and best practice through the EV Council Working Group which meets bi-monthly.
