Council's Parking Management Policy has been updated and references Kington's EV Charging Policy. The EV Charging Policy outlines Council's approach to EV parking. Idle fees to discourage overstays and encourage regular turnover of EV charging bays is being considered.

Description

Council’s two public electric vehicle charging stations continue to be utilised at a high rate. Through the use of 'green power' to charge, over 44,000 kg C02-e has been avoided since from January - July 2024, via over 1,800 charging sessions.
