Council's Grants Program has been updated following a year long review. Several environmental outcomes have been incorporated as material considerations into the new guidelines and evaluation framework:

1. Reduce waste;

2. Increase thriving native environments;

3. Increase energy efficiency;

4. Increase knowledge of climate change;

5. Increase mitigation of climate change;

6. Emergency preparedness.
