Council continues to provide evidence based environmental education for the community to stay informed, connected and take action. Previous events include screening of the film Regenerating Australia, bike maintenance workshops and solar and batteries expos. In the last 12 months 27 events have been delivered, engaging over 687 community members. These included workshops, webinars, and interactive activities, on topics including energy efficiency, sustainable living, community action, gardens for wildlife, and litter prevention. Education events were delivered by different teams to support community knowledge, connection and climate action.
