Kingston libraries and hubs host a range of community education sessions. Each year 100's of community members attend sessions focused on gardens for wildlife, restoring and caring for the environment and sustainability more broadly.

Kingston also delivers an annual free plant giveaway.

Establishment of an Environment Education Centre within Kingston by 2029 is identified as a priority action of Council's Biodiversity Strategy.
