Council is providing information and resources relevant to community renewable energy projects, to a range of stakeholders, upon request. As required, Council will develop tools and resources for community renewable energy projects.

Description

A business case to support Council’s first community battery was submitted to the State Government’s Neighbourhood Battery Initiative - $100M of grant funding. The grant process is highly competitive and while our application is strong, the outcome is currently unknown.
